Our Products

Our juices are made using a cold-press extraction method that gently presses fresh fruit and vegetables to extract the juice without generating the heat created by traditional high-speed juicers.

Every juice is made in small batches using carefully selected ingredients before being bottled and blast-frozen to lock in freshness.

Unlike many juices found on supermarket shelves, our products contain no added sugar, preservatives, colourants or artificial ingredients.

Cold-pressing is a method of extracting juice by slowly crushing and pressing fresh produce rather than chopping it with fast-spinning blades.

Because very little heat is generated during the process, the natural flavour, colour and nutritional value of the ingredients are better preserved.

Fresh juice is highly perishable.

Instead of using preservatives or heat pasteurisation to extend shelf life, we blast-freeze our juices immediately after production.

Blast-freezing rapidly lowers the temperature, helping preserve the flavour, colour and nutritional integrity of the juice while allowing you to enjoy it when it’s convenient for you.

Our juices are never heat pasteurised.

Instead, we rely on strict food safety procedures, hygienic production practices and blast-freezing to preserve product quality without the need for heat treatment.

What you see on the ingredient list is exactly what’s inside the bottle.

Our juices are never diluted with water.

Every bottle contains only the ingredients listed on the label.

The only exception is where water or coconut water forms part of the actual recipe and appears in the ingredients list.

We focus on real food rather than isolated nutrients.

The nutritional composition of fresh fruit and vegetables naturally varies depending on the season, growing conditions and harvest.

Rather than listing values that constantly change, we prefer to be transparent about exactly which ingredients are in every bottle.

The vast majority of our products are vegan and made entirely from plant-based ingredients.

If a product contains a non-vegan ingredient, it will always be clearly stated on the product page and ingredient list.

Most of our juices, smoothies and soups are naturally gluten-free.

However, some wellness programmes include products containing oats or other ingredients that may contain gluten.

If you have coeliac disease or a medically diagnosed gluten allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can help you choose the most suitable programme.

Many of our juices, smoothies and wellness products are enjoyed by children.

Our Kids Range has been specially developed with younger taste buds and nutritional needs in mind.

Our cleanses are not suitable for everyone.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, underweight, living with diabetes, taking prescription medication or have an existing medical condition, please consult your healthcare practitioner before starting a cleanse.

Where possible, we’ll swap products containing the relevant ingredients for suitable alternatives.

Every cleanse is different because every person is different.

Some people feel energised from day one, while others experience a temporary dip as their body adjusts to a different way of eating.

You may notice headaches, tiredness or cravings during the first few days, particularly if you’re reducing caffeine, sugar or processed foods.

These experiences are usually temporary and often improve as your body settles into the program.

Most people are pleasantly surprised by how satisfied they feel.

Our cleanses have been carefully designed to provide your body with a steady supply of nutrients throughout the day.

That said, everyone’s experience is different.

If you do become genuinely hungry, listen to your body. One of the benefits of our guided program is that we can help you make sensible adjustments while keeping you on track.

Firstly, don’t panic.

It’s completely normal to experience moments where you question yourself, particularly during the first few days of a cleanse.

Remember, you’re not trapped in a food prison.

Our programs provide structure, but they’re also designed to work with your body, not against it.

If you’re genuinely hungry, feeling overwhelmed or unsure what to do, please get in touch.

Sometimes a small adjustment is all that’s needed to help you continue successfully.

Our goal isn’t perfection.

It’s helping you complete your cleanse in a way that feels achievable and sustainable.

We recommend avoiding coffee during your cleanse to give your digestive system a chance to reset.

If you regularly drink coffee, you may experience mild withdrawal symptoms during the first day or two.

Many participants find this is an excellent opportunity to reduce their dependence on caffeine.

Water is essential during your cleanse.

We also recommend starting each day with hot lemon water and enjoying the Detox Tea included in your program.

You’re welcome to enjoy additional caffeine-free herbal teas throughout the day.

Alcohol should be avoided during your cleanse.

Yes, but listen to your body.

Gentle movement such as walking, yoga, stretching or light strength training can be a wonderful complement to your cleanse.

If you’re feeling tired, allow yourself to slow down. A cleanse is an opportunity to support your body, not push it beyond its limits.

Many people do notice changes in their weight during a juice cleanse, but weight loss is not the primary goal of our programs.

Our focus is helping you nourish your body with real, plant-based nutrition while giving your digestive system a chance to rest and reset.

Rather than chasing a number on the scale, we encourage you to pay attention to the many other changes people often experience, such as improved energy, better digestion, reduced bloating and a renewed appreciation for wholesome food.

Storage & Defrosting

Please place your products in your freezer as soon as possible after delivery.

All Juice Revolution products are blast-frozen and should remain frozen until you’re ready to enjoy them.

Keeping your products frozen helps preserve their freshness, flavour and nutritional quality.

The easiest way is to remove your products from the freezer the evening before you plan to enjoy them and allow them to defrost overnight at room temperature.

Once defrosted, refrigerate your products and enjoy them within two days.

Shake well before drinking, as settling is completely normal.

Our products can be stored frozen for up to six months from the date of production.

The Best Before date is printed on every bottle and package for your convenience.

For the best flavour and quality, we recommend consuming your products within two days of defrosting.

Always keep them refrigerated once thawed.

We do not recommend refreezing products once they have completely defrosted.

Repeated freezing and thawing may affect both quality and food safety.

Absolutely.

Many of our customers take their juices, smoothies and soups to work every day or enjoy them while travelling.

Once defrosted, keep your products refrigerated where possible. If they’ll be out of the refrigerator for an extended period, transport them in an insulated cooler bag or cooler box with an ice pack.

Enjoy within two days of defrosting.

Yes.

If you’re travelling before you’ve defrosted your products, we recommend transporting them in the insulated polystyrene box your order arrived in. It provides excellent insulation and is ideal for keeping your products frozen while travelling.

For longer journeys, or in hot weather, adding ice packs will help maintain the temperature for longer.

How long your products remain frozen will depend on factors such as travel time, outside temperature and how often the box is opened.

If you’re flying with your products, we recommend checking with your airline beforehand, as policies regarding frozen food and ice packs may vary.

Delivery times vary depending on your location and the products you’ve ordered.

Most Juice Cleanses, Lifestyle Plans, Healing Plans, Soup Boxes and Juice Boxes are dispatched within our standard delivery schedule shown below.

If you’re building your own box of individual juices, smoothies or health shots, please allow a little extra time, as these products are prepared according to availability.

If you need your order urgently, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll always do our best to help.

Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll email your tracking number, courier details and estimated delivery date.

Every order leaves our facility blast-frozen and is carefully packed in insulated packaging to help maintain its frozen temperature throughout its journey.

Where possible, orders are routed through our holding freezers in Cape Town and Johannesburg before final delivery. Together with our trusted courier partners, this helps ensure your products arrive frozen and ready for your freezer.

If your products do not arrive frozen, please:

• note it on the courier waybill before signing

• take photographs of the products

• contact us immediately

We’ll investigate the issue promptly and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.

Yes.

You are welcome to collect your order directly from Juice Revolution.

Once your order is ready, we’ll email you to arrange a convenient collection time.

Please bring a cooler box or cooler bag to transport your frozen products home. If you need to use one of our insulated boxes, we simply ask that it is returned to us afterwards so we can reuse it.

Recycling & Packaging

Yes.

Our bottles are made from PET plastic containing 30% recycled material and are fully recyclable where recycling facilities are available.

We recommend rinsing bottles before placing them in your recycling.

If you’re placing another Juice Revolution order, you’re also welcome to return your empty bottles to us with your delivery box and we’ll make sure they’re sent for recycling.

By recycling or returning your bottles, you’re helping keep valuable materials in the packaging circular economy and reducing unnecessary waste.

Polystyrene can be recycled, but recycling facilities aren’t available everywhere in South Africa.

Where possible, we encourage customers to return their insulated box to us so it can be reused for future deliveries.

If your box doesn’t need to be returned, check whether your local municipality or recycling centre accepts polystyrene. If recycling isn’t available, the box can often be reused for storage, camping, picnics or other household purposes before being disposed of responsibly.

Usually, yes.

Our insulated boxes play an important role in maintaining the quality of our frozen products. Returning them allows us to reuse them for future deliveries and helps keep unnecessary packaging to a minimum.

In most areas, we ask customers to return the empty box to the courier when their order is delivered. If that’s not possible, please keep the box and return it with your next Juice Revolution order.

We’ll let you know in your delivery email whether your box should be returned.

We use insulated polystyrene boxes because they’re currently the most effective way to keep our frozen products at the correct temperature during delivery.

Our juices, smoothies and soups are transported frozen, and the insulated box helps protect them from temperature changes while they’re in transit.

We know packaging is an important environmental consideration, which is why we encourage customers to return their boxes wherever possible so they can be reused.

As more sustainable alternatives become commercially viable, we’ll continue to review our packaging options.
